Booked individually these zones add up to more; as a bundle the price is 30 AZN per session. At Paramed the treatment runs on Soprano Titanium — an Alma Lasers platform combining three wavelengths (Alexandrite 755 nm, Diode 810 nm, Nd:YAG 1064 nm) with active ICE contact cooling. For dense male stubble — especially on the throat and back hairline — we typically use diode or Nd:YAG; for finer hair on the cheekbones and temples the alexandrite is engaged. Contraindications apply, consultation required before starting a course.

How it works
ParamedAt the consultation the doctor assesses phototype, skin condition and hair density on each sub-zone. The optimal wavelength on Soprano Titanium is then selected: Nd:YAG or diode for the throat and back hairline (dense dark hair), alexandrite for cheekbones and temples. Before the procedure the skin is cleansed and, if the beard shape needs to be preserved, the future outline is marked with a medical marker. A full-bundle session takes 25–40 minutes. The In-Motion technique is used: the sapphire applicator moves over the skin while ICE cooling runs continuously. A typical course is 6–8 sessions at 4–6-week intervals.
Technology
ParamedSoprano Titanium is the flagship Alma Lasers platform, combining three wavelengths in one shot: 755 nm (Alexandrite, selective for hair melanin), 810 nm (Diode, universal across phototypes), 1064 nm (Nd:YAG, safe on dark skin and effective for deep follicles). The large 4 cm² applicator speeds up work on the cheeks and neck. SHR — a series of low-energy pulses — heats the follicle gradually, smoothing out the sharp pain peaks typical of the neck and throat. ICE — active contact cooling through the sapphire window — reduces discomfort on the sensitive throat and neck skin. Preparation & aftercare
Paramed Before the procedure
- Avoid sun exposure and self-tanner for 2–3 weeks before the session.
- No wax, sugaring or tweezing for 4 weeks — the laser needs the hair root.
- Shave the area 12–24 hours before the session (a regular razor is fine).
- Arrive with no cream, lotion or cologne on the skin.
- Inform the doctor about antibiotics, retinoids and other photosensitizing medications.
- History of herpes labialis — prophylactic acyclovir per protocol.
After the procedure
- Daily SPF 30+ for at least 2 weeks.
- Avoid sauna, steam room and hot showers for 48 hours.
- No alcohol-based lotions or perfume on the area for 2–3 days.
- Do not rub or scrub the skin for 5–7 days.
- Mild redness and follicular swelling within 24 hours is normal.
- Keep the session interval prescribed by the doctor.
