Candela Vbeam Perfecta and Vbeam Prima are classic pulsed dye lasers (PDL) at 595 nm. At Paramed we don't run Vbeam as a standalone — for vascular issues, rosacea and erythema we use Alma Harmony Dye-VL.

Candela Vbeam (Perfecta and Prima) is the world's best-known pulsed dye laser (PDL), 595 nm, the primary choice of many dermatologists for rosacea, port wine stains, hemangiomas, telangiectasia and erythema. In Baku Candela Vbeam is searched as "Vbeam price", "Candela rosacea", "port wine stain laser". At Paramed we don't run Vbeam as a standalone — Alma Harmony Dye-VL handles these tasks (Pulsed Light with 500–600 nm filters). The principle is shared: light is selectively absorbed by hemoglobin, heating and sealing the vessel. Contraindications apply.
At the consultation the doctor evaluates the vascular lesion type (surface capillaries vs deeper vessels), affected area, phototype, process activity (for rosacea — the stage). The Harmony Dye-VL protocol is set accordingly. If you've had a positive Vbeam experience elsewhere, share it — helps pick comparable settings.
Candela Vbeam is a Pulsed Dye Laser (PDL) with a fixed 595 nm wavelength and short high-energy pulses. Vbeam Prima adds built-in DCD cooling and multi-pulse modes. Alma Dye-VL is an IPL-based technology with 500–600 nm filters, mimicking PDL hemoglobin selectivity. Dye-VL is less monochromatic than Vbeam (it's filtered IPL, not pure PDL), but the large spot and contact cooling make it faster on large areas and more comfortable on sensitive skin. For most diffuse cases (rosacea, erythema) Dye-VL delivers comparable clinical outcomes at a lower per-session price.
No — we don't use a standalone Candela Vbeam PDL platform (Perfecta or Prima). For vascular, rosacea and erythema cases at Paramed we use Alma Harmony Dye-VL — IPL with 500–600 nm filter mimicking PDL hemoglobin selectivity.
For diffuse rosacea and post-acne erythema both approaches deliver comparable results with the right parameters. Dye-VL is more comfortable thanks to contact cooling and large spot, and costs less per session. For deeper vessels and extensive port wine stains in children, PDL remains the gold standard.
On Vbeam at aggressive parameters transient purpura of 5–10 days can occur — this is a PDL characteristic. Dye-VL on standard protocols runs "no-purpura" — usually light redness for 1–3 days, occasional point micropetechiae.
Usually 3–5 sessions at 4–6 week intervals, then maintenance 1–2 times a year. Port wine stains require significantly longer courses.
Yes, year-round provided no active tan and SPF 30+. In summer protocols are gentler.
PDL and IPL are sensitive to skin melanin — on very dark phototypes hyper/hypopigmentation risk is higher. At consultation we assess whether treatment is feasible and what parameters are safe.
Price depends on area (nose, cheeks, full face, neck, décolleté) and protocol. Specifics at consultation — we'll provide pricing for your task.
If you've been considering Candela Vbeam for rosacea or vascular — come in. We'll assess the vascular lesion type and pick a Dye-VL protocol.
